>> Product Introduce
A dialkyl quaternary ammonium salt made from hydrogenated tallow as raw material, with the core structure being two hydrogenated tallow groups (mainly containing C16 and C18 long-chain alkyl groups) and a dimethyl ammonium chloride group; compared with synthetic long-chain alkyl quaternary ammonium salts, it has the core advantages of natural raw materials, outstanding softness, good compatibility, and high cost performance. At the same time, it retains the strong adsorption of double-chain cations as well as excellent softness and antistatic properties; it is widely used in fabric care, industrial processing, material modification and other fields, and is a commonly used core raw material for softeners in the textile industry, as well as a general-purpose raw material in the papermaking and other industries.
>> Main Uses
Main Uses:
• Textile industry: Fabric softeners (endowing fabrics with a soft and fluffy feel), fiber antistatic agents, antistatic finishing for synthetic fabrics (forming a long-lasting antistatic film), post-finishing for industrial textiles (softening agents for padding process);
• Dyeing and printing industry: Acrylic fiber leveling agents (in the dyeing process of acrylic fibers, ensuring uniform dye adsorption, improving dyeing uniformity and color fastness, and avoiding color differences and uneven dyeing);
• Construction industry: Asphalt emulsifiers (enabling uniform dispersion of asphalt and formation of stable emulsions, facilitating transportation, storage and application), emulsifiers for waterproof coatings (enhancing waterproofing and stability), organic bentonite covering agents (stabilizing the system);
• Oilfield industry: Tertiary oil recovery additives (in oilfield exploitation, reducing the oil-water interfacial tension, improving the wettability of crude oil on the surface of oil-bearing rocks, promoting the detachment and flow of crude oil, and increasing the recovery rate of crude oil);
• Paper industry: Paper softeners (for softening treatment of paper, enhancing the feel and flexibility of paper), softeners for household paper (such as toilet paper, tissues);
• Leather industry: Leather fatliquoring and softening treatment (improving the feel and elasticity of leather);
• Other applications: Synthetic rubber emulsifiers (emulsifying rubber monomers into stable emulsions, promoting uniform polymerization reactions and enhancing the elasticity and wear resistance of rubber products), disinfection in silkworm rearing rooms and silkworm equipment, anti-corrosion of industrial materials, phase transfer catalysts.
