Customized Surfactants
In addition to the traditional "yin-yang-non-sexual" surfactant system, there are also some surfactants with specific functional groups that can still directionally reduce the interfacial tension under extreme conditions (high/low temperatures, high salt, strong acids/alkalis), and provide additional functions for the system (such as conductivity, flame retardancy, biodegradability, light/warm response, etc.) and are called specialty surfactants (Specialty Surfactants). These surfactants are generally specially designed to meet extreme conditions, high-end functions or green regulations, often containing element organic chains (F, Si, B, P), Gemini/oligomer/supramolecular/homopolymer frameworks, reactive/degradable/ intelligent response groups, and possess special properties that traditional surfactants cannot achieve, such as ultra-low surface tension, resistance to strong acids and alkalis, high temperature resistance, cross-linking and curing, targeted recognition, and biological origin. Specialty surfactants mainly include fluorinated types, silicon-containing types, Gemini/oligomer types, polymer/supramolecular types, crown ether/space ether types, reactive types, and biological types.

● Green fire protection and military industry: For AFFF/AR-FFFP water film fire extinguishing agents, fluorine surfactants at 0.1% can quickly spread and form a 20nm film on the water surface to isolate oxygen.
● Environmental and soil remediation: For heavy oil emulsifier, raffinose lipid RL-2: 1% solution can emulsify heavy oil at a concentration of 50gL⁻¹, with a natural degradation rate of >90% within 30 days.
